Business in English 2016 – A workshop for tomorrow’s leaders
Women’s Career Network is happy to welcome our members to a workshop with Thomas Lavelle, Head of Language Department at Stockholm School of Economics.
The workshop is designed to help you practice, assess and ultimately enhance your English-language communication skills. By working through some brief case studies developed for MBA programs, you will have an opportunity to use your English in situations similar to those facing line managers and executives daily. On the basis of those exercises, we will examine the elements of professional-level fluency: specialized terminology, clear pronunciation and audience awareness. Finally, participants will leave the workshop with some take-away exercises to guide their own open-ended continuous improvement in English as they prepare for international encounters in either Swedish or global organizations.
